Commercial disclosure

Where the money comes from, stated plainly, so you can decide how much to trust the tables.

How this site earns

  • Display advertising not currently enabled. When it is, advertisers will have no access to the dataset and no influence on it.
  • Referral fees none. There are currently no referral or affiliate relationships with any provider listed on this site.

Why this cannot affect the rankings

Every ranking on this site is computed from published list prices by code in src/lib/data. That code has no access to commercial data — not by policy, but structurally: a test in the repository fails the build if any module in the ranking layer so much as imports the referral file.

A commercial link therefore cannot move a provider up a table, because the code that builds the table cannot see that the link exists. Providers we have no relationship with are presented identically to those we do, and every outbound commercial link is marked rel="sponsored" and labelled where it appears.

If you find a case where that does not hold, it is a bug worth reporting — the claim is only worth anything if it survives being checked.

What we do not do

  • Accept payment for inclusion in, or position within, any ranking.
  • Accept payment to omit a provider or a price.
  • Let a vendor review or approve content before it publishes.
  • Present a commercial link as an ordinary one.
